Dark Snow Project

Please designers, don't build sites like this. It looks super cool and fancy, but even my Macbook Pro with 16GB of RAM and the lastest build of Chromium was sluggish as hell.

I've never been a fan of JS and this is why I have it disabled by default in Chromium. Just whitelist the domains you make use of and the rest of the internet is smooth sailing.

Not to mention it's almost impossible to pay attention to what the page was about. Something to do with that RS article that's also on the front page?

Seemed mostly fine on my old 2Ghz iMac with 2GB RAM and Chrome 28.0.1500.71. But I still agree with you, all the graphical effects were distracting.
