I wouldn't put my money on the JVM platform. It's funny but Clojure's bigest advantage is also its biggest disadvantage.

Given its adoption by enterprise, the JVM at worst has a COBOL future. At best, it's future is worse-is-better.

If we're taking the worse-is-better angle My suspicion is that clojurescript, which compiles to javascript, is a much more likely candidate to continue based on worse-is-better.
