Backbone + underscore + jQuery.

Unless you really have to have a framework.

The combination of the above will have you writing in JS rather than in framework X.

If using Backbone, then https://github.com/marionettejs/backbone.marionette is a MUST. It would cut down on lot of code and it makes code more cleaner. In addition, switch to CoffeeScript.
