Something is misconfigured on your end. I have had some trouble where parameters were incorrect, but otherwise I have used several vendors (local, openrouter, ollama cloud, kimi, deep seek) and it generally works.

Most likely context length parameters aren’t set quite right for your model/provider and you genuinely run out of context during compaction
