API credits yes, subscription no. And the subscription is much better value (per token).

You can PAYG. But it costs an arm and a leg, compared to the subscriptions. Why? Because they're propping up the "moat" that is Claude Code.

Pi definitely has extensions which allow it. I googled "use Pi with Claude Pro" or something and Gemini was more than happy to point me at the extension.
