YouTube does this too. Frequent, obviously fake, AI ads, impersonating politicians, Elon Musk etc.

Youtube got steadily worse for years but especially in the last few years as Neal Mohan took over

They've always been quite scummy with copyright but I almost feel Facebook can be blamed there too because they're the ones that juice the metrics so everyone feels they have to copy them
