I use AnyBox on macOS to do this for bookmarks. It saves a WebArchive copy and a stripped 'reader'-esque version. SingleFile can also pipe into AnyBox, if you want to use that as the archive.

I feel like a dinosaur here -- I just go file -> print as pdf and save them off on a drive.
