Maybe mathematics needs to end the "credit" for whoever discovered something first.
If you vomited out a bunch of AI slop that nobody read, history shouldn't care.
The first person to package it up for human consumption and get everyone to agree it is correct should get all the credit now. If you can't get up in front of a seminar and have pretty much everyone walk out understanding what you meant... then too bad, history forgets who you were...
