Honestly this is the kind of stuff that needs hardened now and new features skipped for a while.

Years ago I had to work on a server that had some sort of water utility software on it and it was a rather jank piece of software.

The entire industry has shit software to be honest, our company has the best or most modern system of the bunch in our country. Half the industry does everything via clipboard & excel.
