Is this an hoax? Because those equipement should not have been on the 'internet' anymore, or with software/hardware built around "security" (aka no bloat, no kludge, _really_ minimal and assembly written?)

I don't understand why this is not dealed at the outlet scale only. In other words, I don't understand the need to scale that higher.

i guess its an IoT so that they can control things remotely and monitor the activities.
