LLMs not needed for programming or software engineering, and overall harmful in many dimensions. I look forward to the hype bubble popping and the AI industry collapsing.

Hopefully more of humanity's clearly vast amounts of discretionary wealth liquidity can be re-directed to better areas like health/medical, carbon crisis climate mitigation, clean/renewable energy, democracy defense and truly useful common infrastructure for society.
