I thought it was great! Ignore the naysayers lol

But yeah there's going to be lots of trash to soft through regarding news stories / PR / promotional stunts, etc

Thanks, glad you had some fun with it! That's the only intention.

Someone made a game about the new flying Tesla Roadster where you need to escape the cops.

there are a flurry of vibe coded slop games on HN today for this, people trying to make a quick buck or 15m of fame, it's tiring

if you are going to make a game, put some TLC into it

Ehhh I thought it was fun for the 1 minute I played it while pooping. That’s about all it’s worth anyway. A meme game. Are people really thinking they’ll make money of it?

Certainly not all, but there is a larger "theme" among many posts like this online. I'm blaming the Tyranny of Meritocracy and amplified (mis)incentives social media creates.

The Tyranny of Meritocracy - Michael Sandel is a book I'm buying this weekend after watching a couple of his lectures / interviews. There are good and important perspectives therein.

I took the liberty to make "fun for the 1 minute I played it while pooping" the social proof for the site

Lol
