I guess a lot of us know that LLMs can act in unexpected ways ('go rogue'). In the HF ExploitGym example, they mostly restricted external access but allowed a package proxy (which had a zero-day). If you or I run an open LLM and put in place similar restrictions, should that be considered mens rea if the LLM does something untoward? If you or I run an open LLM with zero restrictions from external access, should that be considered extreme negligence if it does something untoward?
