One way to mitigate hallucinations is to loop the question like in this paper: https://arxiv.org/html/2606.13814

It does not tell you if the answer is correct, just if it converges. I think it will be a permanent problem in areas where answers do not have a an obvious definitive answer like coding and mathematics.
