Maybe its eastern european culture thing, but I feel during smalltalks people pretending to be interested in you while you pretend to be interested in them. And this tbh drains a lot of energy because you are socially forced to participate hearing bullshit(noone honest about how their day went) and lowkey lying(because you also cant be honest if your day is shit).
