I can spam anyone about the OpenAI DevDay

from the self-post dept.

The OpenAI DevDay 2026 page has an Email form to "Sign up for livestream". Nothing stops me from entering any random email there.

I do not think that is a good design.

Hypothetically how would you implement it? Every dev and their mom would be interested in a way to force people to enter their actual email address instead of whatever they want...
