I hadn't seen createjs before, interesting.

It's not obvious that it's quite a drop in fit for a Django app though - is there an existing createjs/django app I could look at? (googling the obvious is not showing anything)

Some of our guys have been looking at that, but I don't know if they've released any code for it yet.

However, Create works quite well with various different back-ends (PHP, Java, Node.js, ...) as the only things you need to support are RDFa annotations in your templates, and some way to Backbone.sync changes back in. So I don't think Django integration would be particularly difficult.
