Fullstack generalist, 8 years, last four spent leading a small team building interfaces for a distributed OS. I built a working replica of Stanford's "Generative Agents": a village of autonomous LLM NPCs with long-term memory, reflection, and durable actions, retrieving over a vector store (I wrote it up at nuga.theologi.ca/posts/stanford, including all the ways it broke and how I dragged it from 70% to 95%). I like the boundary where LLMs meet real systems: RAG pipelines, agents that have to be reliable, eval harnesses, and product that ships to actual users. Equally happy in the frontend (React/TS, even THREE.js and game engines) or down in Rust/Node/Python on the backend. I learn fast, I mentor, and I write both code and prose. When I'm not at a keyboard I'm tending goats, ducks, and an alarming number of other animals, which has made me weirdly good at keeping fragile systems alive. Looking for remote AI or fullstack work; open-ended generalist roles especially welcome.
Remote: Yes (only remote, for now — new baby at home)
Willing to relocate: No
Technologies: TypeScript, React, Next.js, React Native, Node.js, Rust, Python, C#/.NET, Elixir. LLM/agent work: RAG and vector DBs (Chroma, Pinecone), embeddings, agent architectures, prompt engineering, evals, OpenAI/Anthropic/local models. Also: PostgreSQL, Docker, Linux, WASM, Phaser/Godot/Unity, Ethereum/web3.
