Push for better guardrails and QA structures. Avoidance helps nobody in the long run, and isn't possible anyway without going completely cold turkey. Like literally in a few months every project worth using will directly or indirectly involve AI.

What the hell? That’s the job.

Today. the projects that are using AI are the ones that are becoming not worth using, eg. rsync introducing tens of thousands of lines of unreviewed code causing regressions. What do you suppose will completely reverse the trendline in the next few months, to make AI go from making projects actively less valuable to being the "only" projects worth using? Trust me bro vibes? I have low trust for trust me bro vibes, because I've been hearing that AI will replace me "in a few months" every single month for the past two and a half years.
