Cool project! E2E encryption is a great angle for file sharing.
For the non-encrypted use case, when you just need a quick API based upload to public URL flow, I've been building FilePost (https://filepost.dev). Single POST request with your file, get back a permanent CDN URL served via Cloudflare. No accounts for recipients, no expiry unless you delete it.
Different niche from what you built, no encryption but permanent hosting plus API first, but figured it's a related space. How are you handling file size limits?
