What would be your suggestion on how to reach his 1.6 million followers to join this movement if he can't use instagram?

That's not what I'm saying. If they would truly only use Big tech products to reach people with political points who they were otherwise unable to reach, then that's fine and a legitimate tradeoff. The number of people who do that is virtually zero.
