One of the most compelling arguments for css is to use it rearrange the content of your webpage so the most relevant content appears earlier in the data. Apparently this can have a significant effect on your search engine optimization.

If it's your choice, making the most relevant content appear earlier in the layout too (thus removing the need to reorder) sounds like a good idea.
