I do not understand, at all.

To me, you made something that could be valuable, and instead of letting people use it, you hoard it. A bad actor can just use any of the SOTA models to roll play and lie and say it is your model. Saying it is available to scholars in the information age is absurd gate keeping.

I think this is just selfish. Knowledge should be free.
