I don't want to get into revenue figures, but yes, the site has a cult following and while not attracting high CPM rates, it was earning decent enough revenue.

Again, I'm not mad that they decided to turn the ads off - I can respect their decision if they feel it's not appropriate, but it's the fact that I didn't get any decent explanation on what I needed to change. It just feels very disrespectful after such a long and prosperous relationship.
