except for the example of math from which after about a thousand years of number theory you get cryptography and computers.

I suppose that’s a counter argument.

As I said in another reply, I’m mostly frustrated by the fact that our culture is regressing and the people who should have something to say about it don’t… or don’t have anything to say that anyone seems to care about.
