Learned helplessness?
I was super calm and happy when we were told to train our replacements for next three months until we were laid off. There were some teammates who would cry in office or were visibly angry.
But I accepted my fate quickly. I had no choice, it was GFC, there were no jobs, I had low expenses and savings, so was not stressed about paying rent.
