Show HN: You2Aanki – Turn Videos into Anki Vocabulary Flashcards

Posted by isege on Sunday June 01, 2025 @03:32PM
from the show-hn dept.

Hey HN, this is my first product launch.

I built You2Anki along my language learning journey to aid my vocabulary from any content I want.

Most tools I tried weren’t particularly made for language acquisition. You2Anki was designed with that focus in mind. Simple, intuitive and distraction-free.

I hope it helps you!

Does it work in Chinese? See the movies feature of http://pingtype.github.io

Yes, it does have Chinese. I didn't quite understand the website though. What exactly were you trying to show?

You could say it is similar. It picks phrases from the video, translates it and creates anki flashcards.

Does the website still work? It shows "Bad gateway".
