You don't mention what the income from the government job is related to the private one, is it much different ?

Also in some places a government job comes with a pension that a private sector job would not, is that a plus point for moving to a government job ?

WRT Social Skills, I think it's a good idea but I wonder if there are ways of improving your social skills independent of where you are working ? Is Toast Masters something you would consider ? There seem to be a number of options within Nepal https://toastmastersnepal.org/clubs-in-nepal/ .

government job will pay me 2.5x my current private job salary. To reach the government job level of salary I'd have to spare 5 extra years (since I am unable to land any other interviews in other companies and thus no jobs)
