Any chance you could update it to follow Android 4.0+ UI guidelines? You still have the old style menu and no overflow button.

I think any updates to the UI would be appreciated at this stage. The rest of the app seems to be working just fine, now all that's missing is a nice interface.

maybe... I don't have any 4.0+ devices to test on, and the large majority of users are still on 2.x

You can always use the AVD, it has 4.0 and now even 4.1.

make it open-source and I'll do that for you. You can then update the app with the new design if you'd like.

I agree. UI does need improvements. Specially for bigger screens like Nexus 7.

Overall. I like it a lot. I might stop visiting HN in browser and start using your app.
