250k average pay is unheard of in the federal government, plus it is unconstitutional to have CFPB outside the congressional appropriations process.
Its basically illegal from the Constitutional point of view.
Plus the agency really has not delivered enough to justify its existence and its spend

Interesting, considering they are not making anywhere near 250. doo de doo... How exactly are you measuring "delivered", "enough", and "justify"? I guess you just feel it like that 250k.

Feels good to sit at the other side of the "performance evaluation" process for once... and for your own government!
just inject this directly into my veins

Oh yes "legality" has been at the forefront of what this new government does. Are you their spokesperson btw? You seem to believe it all.

if what they are doing is illegal, it seems like a slam dunk for their opposition to sue them and win a huge fat settlement $$$.
why is this not happening?

This is, unfortunately, the predominant worldview of billionaire-cuckholded libertarians who drank the manufacturing of consent by mass media Wall St. Kool-Aid. I was once amongst their ranks when I didn't know anything between the ages of about 14 and 19. Libertarianism began as a manufactured political ideology grasping at straws from Ayn Rand with the backing of the Kochs to facilitate the weakening of government.

Hey, no need to paint us all with the same brush. If you look closely at these threads, you'll notice it's the same 2 or 3 people ardently defending Musk's actions-- in some cases commenting more than 50 times on a single post.
" 1. Waste (all budget is basically salaries for overpaid bureacrats)"
Bureaucrats are all just overpaid waste in your anarchist world view?
