Why can't he send a team of teenage programmers to audit? He cofounded paypal which is payment system. Presumably he knows about things like payment systems, fraud, etc... Seems to me Paypal had their fair share of youngsters and it worked out fine. He's found missing payment codes for most of the treasury transactions, no notes about transactions, payments to entities or persons on blacklists, etc... AFAIK he's actually finding stuff that nobody was able to find for recorded history, so .... why not give it a try. Treasury has already been hacked numerous times and I think we can assume that this data that people are so concerned about is already out there in the wild. If I want somebodies social security number for example, it's pretty easy to get it.
