Very telling to try to stop an audit by accusing the auditors of needing an audit. Projection seems to be the only protection mechanism the incompetence hierarchy knows.

Auditors don't need write access to the system. And audits absolutely do include a careful accounting of who has access and what is being accessed.

This is pretty much a spot on assessment. There is a similar problem in Massachusetts where an overwhelming majority of voters (>70%) voted to an audit of the state legislature, who are now up in arms claiming it is a right-wing take over strategy.
