form the specs I've seen of the Pre, it is about twice the thickness of the iPhone and the other dimensions are only slightly less. I guess you will find the Pre also large and clunky.

Palm Pre is .19 of an inch thicker than the iphone, and over half an inch shorter. Great size for an average hand or a pocket. Here are the numbers:

pre 3.96” by 2.34” by 0.67”; 4.76 oz. iPhone 4.3″ by 2.4″by 0.33″; 4.05 oz.

At least one of the articles is incorrect.

I'm guessing that they're measuring the Pre (or the iPhone) in different locations.

the technologizer.com article is incorrect - it uses the dimensions and weight of the iPod Touch rather than the iPhone 3G.
