I also would like to point out that there will be many libs/people on the left that will be up in arms about the courts using "novel" ways to prosecute him. This "unusual" method, etc... they'll rail against it.
Yet, they cheered using any novel method, unusual method, legal or illegal method to get Trump. Get him at any cost, they shouted.
Now they see the slippery slope that happens when justice isn't applied fairly and blindly.
but it is not though, right? in your very next paragraph you went into political drivel about “libs/left” and Trump and whatnot. In this country nothing is about the law any longer, every single crime is a political charade. Is Luigi a criminal and should be either in jail for the rest of his life or executed? Absolutely. Is Trump a criminal who should be in jail for the rest of his life instead of being President? absolutely. But just as Trump will never see inside of a cell, Luigi may also not spend the rest of his life in one :)
I'm not aware of a single crime that he's committed and been convicted for that wasn't politically motivated. Both charging and convicted by the jury for political reasons.
Luigi, it's obvious, he murdered someone.
So, no, I don't understand your point?
you are writing exact words to prove my point… :)
I hope they acquit on all of them.
I'm not sorry that Brian Thompson was killed. I'm sorry that he was assassinated instead of executed after a fair and public trial by jury for profiting from United Healthcare's policy of depraved indifference to human life.
While he was a husband and a father, so was Adolf Eichmann, and that didn't stop Eichmann from making sure the trains to Auschwitz ran on time. Likewise, being a family man didn't stop Thompson from looking too closely at what he was actually doing when he was doing his job as CEO.
Unfortunately, negligent homicide is perfectly legal when a corporation does it. It isn't even acknowledged as such.
Shareholder value uber alles, right? Gotta turn a profit no matter who dies.
Shit like this is why Queensryche's 1988 album Operation: Mindcrime is still relevant almost 35 years after its release.
