The very last thing Western Europe wants is for Ukraine to "win". That was never the plan. The plan was to sacrifice Ukraine to weaken Russia. Think of what "Ukraine winning" would mean in practice. It would mean a neo-Nazi state at the eastern border, armed to the teeth and with a lot more battle experience than all of European armies combined.
