People spend over $50k-$100k building MVPs why?
I've spent 10+ years building SaaS and MVPs for software agencies and founders both as consultant and freelancer
I found that most people spend over $50k sometimes $100k building MVP mostly outsourced to an agency or a team of developers who aren't expert in launching MVPs but mostly wasting time on tech stack debates, writing useless tests and focusing on what's not important THE MVP core features that shows if a product is feasible
Now I run AstroMVP and I helped more than 20+ founders build, maintain and scale their MVPs

I worked on a search engine for patents, for instance, where “minimum viable” meant “better than the competition” and it is not crazy for this to take 2-3 years of several FTE. Had we been smarter about it I think we could have cut the cost by 30% maybe 50% in fact I got it out the door half a year earlier because they let go of some features.
For run of the mill application work we badly need no code/low code (shocked how long it took to complete a moderately complex form app) but there is a very high bar for a product like that to clear. For instance I did an accessibility audit of the form app and found the framework we used shoved in h6 elements without using h5. If your low code tool does that and it is a hassle to fix it then it fails.
So that’s a product where the “minimal” product again is not so minimal.
People spending too much on MVP do it because they don't know how to make the product. They know how to sell it and that's it.
