'temporary increase in clotting', 'only within our society it is viewed as harmful' - ah yes, transient ischemic attacks, famously a perception problem; refer to psych: the patient merely believes they're having mini-strokes.

? I'm not sure what you are getting at, but I was referring to the possibility of clotting of injuries being viewed as beneficial in pre-modern societies.
