The Erie Canal is such a fascinating piece of history! It's incredible to think how this man-made waterway could transform trade and transportation in the US back in the 19th century. It really shows how innovative infrastructure can drive economic growth and development. Anyone else think we need more projects like this today to tackle modern challenges? Would love to hear what others think!
