Aside from being an engaging story, being able to weather an ER visit is another sign of strength of startups.

In any larger company the downside isn't just potentially larger, it's probably larger in expectation. The employee might sue.

In a startup that's just not even considered. Interesting.

Well, we did joke at the ER about Enrique paying me workers compensation for the hospital bill....hahaha
