Ask HN: How can any self respecting company stay on render?

The number of outages is untenable, their features set is severely limiting, their support is horrible, they have so few integrations, they don't expose the underlying hardware, no spot or reserved instance capability. We're done, we're moving.

What’s the alternative? I feel like the interface is so simple for non infra engineers who just want to get a hobbyist project off the ground. I mean sure it’s not going to have the bells and whistles of something like Porter or just going onto aws/gcp directly but saying “self respecting” is ridiculous. It’s just a time tradeoff

Even worse is that their status page is total BS - there's a reason why everyone goes to Twitter to see if Render is down or not
