Tried the macOS Apple Silicon build. Launched and I see spinning wheel for next 2 mins on Splash screen. Killed the process. Launched again, I see a few settings to configure, and finally my home folder. Clicked on a folder, again the spinning wheel for 2-3 minutes. Killed the process.

The only working/reliable Finder/Explorer replacement is Folder's, unfortunately, it only runs on Windows.

Actually I haven't tried Spacedrive yet, I'm waiting for them to implement syncing.

It probably needs to scan all the files before becoming functional.

IMHO Spacedrive is not really a file manager, it is a user-friendly version of git-annex. But how else do you market something like this?

Is it made by the same people as OrbStack? Thought I'd arrived on the wrong site - https://orbstack.dev

OK, so a sort of catalog of your personal files across all of your devices and cloud services. Intriguing, but I don't see a practical use for myself yet.

FYI: I noticed the links on the FAQ page to Tauri are incorrect; they link to: https://tauri.studio/ but should link to: https://tauri.app/
