this headline implies this detente is a balance between two powers.
on the contrary, as China's diplomatic Star shines and it gains more and more leadership collateral on the world stage, so America's Star fizzles out; as the whole world loses all trust for the yanks, and their money supply collapses.
most of us Non Westerners don't see this as a bad thing, but are waiting to breath a huge sigh of relief when the US becomes the third world country it always deserved to be.
maybe a century of global intervention, fuckery and murderous Imperialism wasn't the best approach to being "a superpower".
