From what I can tell, this union is generally pretty weak. Its not like if we stop working, the university grinds to a halt. A few students don't get a precalculus lecture (or in my case, some calculus review). Maybe the professor has to grade exams or something. its more a pain in the ass if anything.

Its definitely an interesting dilemma to be in. I thought a post here would give some interesting perspective on how others feel about my situation.
