I am quite sceptical of Notion templates advertised these days. The ones that had hype turned out to be half-baked and bad. It would probably take less time to make your own budget tracker spreadsheet than debug a broken Notion template. Dunno if this one is broken but it promises a lot and doesn’t give much evidence to support it, as is usually the case for the ones that don’t work.
