The end of Windows 10 could represent an opportunity for low-resource Linux distros, too.

Many of these machines will run full blown Linux distros; no need for the low resource ones.

Indeed. Most computers of the last 10 years are just objectively powerful and certainly powerful enough for most office tasks.
