Completely agree. I don't think I am going to put a 900 MHz NMR or an Orbitrap in my basement :)

I know! I can just hear my daughter, 'Daddy, turn that down. I'm trying to watch Doc McStuffins. Why do you have to do science on a Saturday morning?'

Then there is the electrical bill and I already get hell from my wife for the water bill during the summer months.
