Sqids is the new, rebranded version of Hashids, with an ehanced algorithm. Sqids was created by the original creator of Hashids, and is meant to be its successor.

Very slick! Are there any similar options that do help with things like masking the user count, and also don't suffer from hash collision when the IDs are short?

Another direction: check digits/pronounce assists?
