Ie, instead of `Do you have work authorization?` as the first question asked [no less], it need be enforceably ILLEGAL to try fish information about it.
In practice that can't be fully done without also blinding a lot of other related things. But having Single-Market enforced by law will certainly reduce the pay gap found today in lvl-to-lvl comparisons (top ppl of country A vs the same of country B; bottom ppl of country A vs the same of country B).
