Two questions (1) How did you get active profiles of so many awesome people on your network?(2) Is there a way to map the HN handles to profiles in this site?

(1) We reached out directly to a handful of people that we admired and a number of them were nice enough to take the time to sign up. (2) Not as yet, although a number of people use the same handle for their Askolo reserved name. This is something we'll definitely look into.
