Cheaper labor held in line by the hope of citizenship to displace current workers.

Google, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft want to get rid of more American Tech workers and hire slaves.

FIFY...

I just don't know why they don't pack up and move their HQ's to India. Why bring them all here when they could go over there and pay pennies on the dollar. You could acquire a slave there for less then a SBUX coffee a day. American graduates can go fuck themselves when it comes to these companies, they don't want them.

Why are they even allowed to hire H1B employees from abroad after the layoffs?

Throwaway as I work for Microsoft.

This is even more infuriating given that, internally, industry hiring has mostly been stopped across most of the company except for special case above senior attrition, and university and college hiring has been slowed dramatically.

This is part of a concerted industry-wide push to further drive down salaries and undermine employee negotiating power.

I realize unionization has become a dirty word in the US, but I'd love workers to realize there are degrees of organization short of joining a union, but whatever your opinions on this, there's no reason to defend business owners who certainly do not have your best interests in mind.

Excellent It seems like you are aware what is going on.

They want the workers divided and distracted. That’s why these dialects are pushed

Your real enemy is the establishment and not each other
